Are you looking for your ‘purrfect’ match and your ‘furrever’ companion? Or maybe you already have a kitty but want to look for another adorable feline bud to keep your cat household plenty. To help you with this desire, here are four places where you can find your next cute cats.

Breeders

We promote adopt don’t shop, so please refrain from going to breeders for finding your next feline buddy.

Neighbors

You can find many cute cats in your neighborhood. It’s a fortunate event if a neighbor’s cat gives birth to a litter where you'll find your ‘purrfect’ kitty. Alternatively, there are stray cats that are usually found along the streets. Maybe if you take a pause and observe you’d realize that the feline you’ve been looking for was near you all along.

Fosters

Many kind people have found their calling through fostering animals in need. This is quite similar to shelters; only these fosters can provide better house training to make cats or kittens ready for adoption. You can read about the pros and cons of adopting a kitten here .To find foster cat parents you can scan through your local rescue shelters or even online. There are a lot of foster carers that post online, especially in social media like Instagram and Facebook.

Shelters

Lastly, your local animal shelter could be the perfect place to meet cute cats. Stray, lost, abandoned or surrendered felines may only be waiting for their second chance at life. Read our guide to adoption here. You could be their ‘hooman’ to love and who will love them back.

We hope that more cats in need of a home can find people with a good heart to adopt them. While we placed breeders in this list, it is because it’s a reality of where a person can opt to find a feline buddy. However, if you find it in yourself not just to get a cat you want but to adopt a cat in need then do consider the three places first. In any case, we hope you find your next feline friend!
